“Amtrak has announced it has completed an early construction milestone for the Susquehanna River Bridge Project.
According to Amtrak, construction workers removed the final remnant pier from the river, a necessary step before constructing two new bridges began. The new bridges will replace the two-track Susquehanna River Bridge, originally opened in 1906.”
