State Leaders across the country are trying their best to push solar and wind projects before federal tax credits are no longer available. The tax credits have brought project costs down 30-50 percent, but President Trump signed a bill that will end the credits. Projects must now start construction by July 4, 2026 and be operational by the end of 2027 to qualify.
