Preserved farmland could generate renewable energy for neighboring properties under bipartisan bill
A bipartisan bill sponsored by Senators Latham Tiver and Bob Smith would allow qualifying renewable energy systems on preserved farmland to provide power or heat to adjacent properties under certain conditions.
